    A Strong Earthquake Hits Java

    Was watching the news and saw that a strong earthquake of 7.5R hits 100km east of Jakarta. Was reported that the earthquake centre is 300km under, so no potential tsunami or huge damage on the surface. Tried to confirm and called Jakarta but no answer, maybe because it was 2am in the morning?

    Hope there is no victim and that everyone is allright....

    it's amazing that the strong earthquake wasn't able to wake me up..., two construction workers were killed, but no report of other victim so far jeng.

    gw nggak berasa apa2 saat terjadi gempa, secara dah tertidur pules gitu looh...eeeeh pagi2 pas buka hp, ada sms dr adik ku yg nanyain kabar gw gimana...terasa nggak gempa nya:):)...gw jadi bingung soalnya blom sempat liat berita di TV...puji syukur pd Allah yg selalu melindungi...

    7.5 SR, kebayang seremnya. untung termasuk gempa dalam, sehingga dampaknya tidak begitu "terasa". kalau itu gempa dangkal, sekitar 60KM, wahh bisa Jawa jadi padam deh!
